Why Should You Post An Article On HomeWorkingMums?

The mission of this website is to inspire mums who've got the desire to start and develop a WAHM business. 

We're looking for WAHM role models to help us fulfil that mission.  Could that be you?

It doesn't matter if your business is big or small, new or old.  If you've started a home based business, we need your help.

In return for sharing your story we're offering you an effective way to promote your products and services to a captive audience of mums.  It'll cost you nothing to post your article, so it's win-win!

We encourage you to include a logo, website link and photos with your article.  But we do ask one thing.  Only use your article to tell the story of your start-up business experiences.  Don't be tempted to write an advertorial for your products or services.  As I'm sure you'll agree, a good read is far more appealing!

To give you a hand, here are our simple submission guidelines:    

1. You must have started your business at home.
2. We only accept articles from franchisees (not franchise owners) and party plan agents (not party plan co. owners).
3. The article must not include requests to buy your products or services, or any sales patter whatsoever.
4. You should make sure that you include answers to the following questions:
   1. Why did you start your business?  E.g. Money, work/life balance, to use your brain etc.
   2. When did you start your business?
   3. What is your business?
   4. How did you come across the idea?
   5. What do you like most about running your business?
   6. What have you found challenging, and how have you overcome those challenges?
   7. What do you wish you'd known when you started out?  e.g. What advice/help do you wish you'd had?
   8. Your top tip for mums just starting out.
5. You must link back to www.homeworkingmums.co.uk from your website HOMEPAGE.  We ask that you do this BEFORE submitting your article.
